Privacy statement

Aion B.V., trading as Aion Group ("we"), respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process through this website, why, and what your rights are. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

Who is responsible

What we process and why

• Booking an intro call. When you plan a call, we receive your name, e-mail address, the time you picked and anything you write in the notes. We use this to hold the call and follow up. Legal basis: steps at your request before entering into an agreement (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Contact form and e-mail. When you contact us, we receive your name, e-mail address, organisation and your message. We use this to answer you. Legal basis: steps at your request before an agreement, or our legitimate interest in answering questions (art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Website visits. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Clients. If you become a client, we process contact and billing details to carry out the agreement and to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping our books (art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).

We do not sell your data, do not use it for automated decision-making, and only send you marketing e-mail with your consent.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Cal.com (scheduling of intro calls), linked to our calendar
• our e-mail and calendar provider

Some of these providers are based in or process data in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not share your data with other parties unless the law requires it.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics. Our fonts and images are served from our own website. The booking calendar on the Plan a call page is provided by Cal.com and may place functional cookies that are needed to make a booking. These do not require consent under Dutch law.

How long we keep data

We keep contact and booking data for as long as needed to follow up on your request, and at most two years after our last contact unless you become a client. Client and billing records are kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period only.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@aiongp.com; we respond within one month.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, please contact us first. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this statement. The date at the top shows the latest version.
